Apply to keep pets in your council home
You must ask for our permission before you can keep any pets in your home.
We will normally give permission for you to keep up to two domestic pets in your home. We will only give permission if we think you have adequate space for pets and are able to look after them.
Cats and dogs must be micro-chipped and neutered. We do not give permission for tenants to keep cats or dogs in multi-storey flats, or in flats where there is no direct access to outside space.
