Location and building access
- Lincoln Visitor Information Centre is located in Castle Hill. It’s at the top of a Steep Hill from the South and a level approach from Bailgate in the North
- There are three steps and a handrail to enter and exit the building
- The highest step is 180mm in depth, the lowest step is 150mm in depth
- The entrance steps are limestone, which are uneven in places
- The door has a clear opening width of 760mm
- There is a doorbell if you need assistance
- Internally there two steps and a grab rail leading to an upper floor. The steps have a height of 150mm and 130mm
- A hearing induction loop is installed at the customer adviser desk
- Dogs are welcome inside the Visitor Information Centre
Rail
- The nearest railway station is Lincoln Central, located in the lower part of the city centre, 0.7miles from the Visitor Information Centre
- Wheelchair accessible taxis are available from the taxi rank located at the railway station

Bus
- The nearest bus station is Lincoln Central Bus Station, located in the lower part of the city centre, 0.7 miles from the Visitor Information Centre
- The nearest bus stops to the Visitor Information Centre are in Minster Yard and on Northgate
- The bus stop in Minster Yard is served by PC Coaches Walk & Ride. This service runs Monday to Saturday excluding Bank Holidays.

Park and Ride
- A Park and Ride operates Monday to Saturday excluding Bank Holidays
- Parking is in the Waitrose car park on Searby Road, LN2 4DS
- The bus leaves from the bus stop on Nettleham Road opposite Waitrose
- The nearest Park and Ride bus stop to the Visitor Information Centre is on Northgate

- Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door accessible minibus service for people who live within a ten-mile radius of Lincoln city centre who are unable to access public transport.

ShopMobility
- A ShopMobility service operates from Unit 1, Lincoln Central Car Park. This is in the lower part of the city centre, 0.7 miles from the Visitor Information Centre
- This service is available Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays
- Manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available for hire

Car parking
- There are several car parks located close to the Visitor Information Centre.
Search for a car park - The nearest car park is in Castle Hill, LN1 3AA. This car park has 26 spaces, including one disabled parking space
- Blue Badge holders receive parking concessions when using City of Lincoln Council car parks.
