City of Lincoln Council and Voluntary Centre Services are pleased to announce the application window for Lincoln Lottery Community Fund 2024 is now open.
A total of £11,335 is available within the 2024 fund to support local projects benefitting the residents of Lincoln.
How has the fund been raised?
Of the total amount of funds up for grabs, £8,135 has been raised by supporters of Lincoln Community Lottery between August 2023 and July 2024. Additionally, due to a local good cause not being able to utilise their allocation of the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund 2023, £3,200 of the 2023 fund has also been added to the 2024 fund for reallocation.
All funds to be allocated have been raised by supporters of Lincoln Community Lottery who have either –
- selected the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund as their good cause when purchasing tickets – 60 pence of every ticket sold goes towards this fund
- selected any of the other good causes when purchasing tickets - 10 pence of every ticket sold supports the Community Fund, with a further 50 pence going directly to the supporters chosen good cause.
Consultation results
During October 2024 a consultation took place to identify the top two good cause areas where lottery supporters and residents would like the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund 2024 to be allocated to.
The consultation identified the top two good cause areas as ‘Reducing the impacts of poverty’ and ‘Reducing social isolation and loneliness’.
