Furniture and furnishing provided by the landlord
Any furniture and/or furnishings provided by the landlord must be in good working order. All furniture that is upholstered (e.g. sofas, mattresses, cushions, headboards etc.) should be fire resistant and have the fire resistant tag intact to show that it meets fire safety standards. If the landlord has any reason to believe that the furniture provided does not meet fire safety standards, then they should remove and replace them with furniture that does.
