How do you select candidates?
All of our vacant positions are advertised through the UK government's ‘Find an Apprenticeship’ service.
All candidates are directed here and asked to complete an application to register their interest.
Once the closing date arrives we will shortlist candidates and send out invites to those we wish to take through to the next stage(s). Depending upon the role and organisation we are recruiting for this process may involve some, or all of the following:
- Group assessment activities
- Individual tests
- Interview
Once candidates have been chosen all will be informed in writing of our decisions and offered positions, pending two suitable references.
Can I be involved in the recruitment process?
Yes, we are happy for employers to be as involved in the recruitment process as you wish to be. Should you have already employed a potential apprentice and simply need someone to deliver the qualification for you we can do this also. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Will this process cost me anything?
No, we do not charge for our time in recruiting you an apprentice as we will be working in partnership to deliver the qualification and train the member of staff.
How long does the process take?
Generally speaking the process from creation of a job advert to recruiting the individual takes approximately six weeks. This timescale can vary however based upon time to obtain references, any notice period a candidate may have to wait, holiday periods etc. We always work to get this process completed properly in the least amount of time possible.
I have other questions
