Boultham Park play area has recently been improved and the official opening was in April 2011. The improvements cost £80,000. Approximately 200 children from St Francis school chose the design by the company Wicksteed.
The play area includes a climbing boulder, fly mobile, play trails, climbing platform, a nest swing and junior and toddler swings.
