It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
The grounds for the application for review
A review is sought on the grounds of:
- The prevention of crime and disorder
- The police have obtained evidence which indicates offences have occurred on the premises in relation to the employment of illegal workers
- Non-compliance of licence conditions
The licensing register is kept and the grounds for review may be inspected between 10am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
