City of Lincoln Council is proud to operate four excellent community centres across the city, each offering an incredible range of facilities and rooms available for hire.
These versatile venues are perfect for hosting a wide variety of events, from training sessions and community gatherings to private parties and sports activities.
Bud Robinson Community Centre
Bud Robinson Community Centre offers a main hall, a large meeting room, and a small meeting room for hire.
The centre is staffed from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, eliminating the need to hire a caretaker during these hours making it a budget-friendly option.
It is home to groups such as the Alzheimer’s Society and Forget Me Not Café, providing essential support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.
Club 87 regularly hosts activities from the venue, offering social and recreational opportunities, including weekly discos for individuals with disabilities.
Grandstand Community Centre
Nestled in the heart of Lincoln, this historic venue offers a main hall and a large meeting room for hire.
With its proximity to the A46 and plenty of onsite parking spaces, it’s ideal for large events and private parties.
The centre is a trusted venue regularly used by the NHS for vaccination services. It is a hub for cultural and social activities, including the City of Lincoln Brass Band’s weekly rehearsals and the Women’s Institute’s monthly meetings.
City of Lincoln Council’s Local Landscapes and Hidden Histories team also hosts Local History Cafés at the centre.
Moorland Community Centre
Located on Moorland Avenue, this thriving venue offers a main hall and a large meeting room for hire.
Following recent renovation, Voluntary Centre Services is committed to collaborating with local organisations to provide a welcoming hub for community engagement.
From cookery classes and arts and crafts to sports and youth clubs, there’s something for everyone.
The NHS offers Diabetes Prevention classes from the centre which is accessible via GP referrals.
Sudbrooke Drive Community Centre
Situated in the Ermine East estate, Sudbrooke Drive Community Centre features a main hall and a meeting room for hire.
